PU Injection–Polyurethane Grout Injection

We provides professional polyurethane grout injection service for the refurbishment of concrete and masonry structures. Polyurethane grout injection is used to stop water infiltration and seal joints. There are two main categories of polyurethane grout injection products: hydrophobic and hydrophilic.

Hydrophobic grout polyurethanes are water-activated, cure to a constant volume, flexible, and are not affected by water or dryness. Characteristics such as these and the good adhesion employed on wet and dry concrete make hydrophobic grout polyurethanes the product of choice for sealing infiltrating water in moist and wet applications with varying moisture cycles.

Hydrophilic polyurethane grout is also used for stopping water infiltration, however due to water being a component of the product’s chemical structure, unlike hydrophobic grouts, wet and dry cycles may cause the material to shrink and swell. Hydrophilic polyurethane grouts are cured upon reaction to water and are flexible.

Polyurethane grout injection is commonly used for stopping water infiltration and sealing joints in the following applications: defective concrete, concrete joints, limestone, brick, pipe intrusions, waste water tanks, drinking water reservoirs, reservoirs, sewers, manholes, tunnels, and dams.
